Neighbourhood Trade Schools are workshops based on the idea that everyone has something to share, and everyone has something to learn.

Our Trade Schools have been a series of beginner creative workshops where we develop the skills we need to reimagine, repair, and make changes to our homes, streets and neighbourhoods. We’ve already completed 4 weeks on DIY tools and 6 weeks on natural materials.

Our ‘Exploring Energy’ Tradeschools start in June:

Join our creative workshops learning about how energy is produced and used in your home, getting hands on with electronics like solar power and making things to take home with you. Trade Schools are aimed at beginners. You do not need any skills or ‘knowhow’ to come along.

We are working to make our Trade Schools as accessible as possible for people who face barriers to these kinds of workshops: women, people of colour, working class people, people who identify as LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent, disabled people, people out of work.
